Rani Sui Trek

Itinerary

The trek starts from the ancient Hadimba temple,the trail used by the legendary Gaddi Shepherds, traversing the almost untouched mountain wilderness of the majestic Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges. There will be steep climbs and short stretches of scree and snow.Rani Sui Lake which is located in lush green meadows and from the heights one enjoys the changing colours and hues of the cultivated multicolored fields of the valley.

DAY 01 - MANALI TO LAMA DUGH (3317M), 4-5 HOURS.

We start the trek from manali mall road. The trek is mostly an uphill climb.We will be walking through thick Deodar forests.when we will stop for lunch from there you will be seeing an amazing manali view one of the most famous rock in manali. Lama Dugh is a lovely meadow ringed by Maple, Spruce and Oak.

DAY 02 - LAMA DUGH TO RANI SUI (3800M) VIA KHANPARI TIBBA (4025M), 5- 6 HOURS.

It is a steep ridge below Khanpari Tibba. From this point one can have a magnificent glimpse of Manali, situated on the left bank of River Beas and of the whole upper Kullu valley. The lake at Rani Sui is a small mountain tarn with a 360 degree view of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges.

DAY 03 - RANI SUI TO BOGI THACH (3000M), 3 - 4 HOURS.

Today’s is an easy walk downhill to the meadow at Bogi Thach, where shepherds are sometimes seen grazing their flocks. The path winds through thick forests bristling with Deodar, Spruce, Oak and Walnut trees.

DAY 04 - BOGI THACH TO MANALI (2050M), 4-5 HOURS.

Continue all the way downhill till the village of Brain Village from where our transport will pick us up and take us to Manali.
